About the Writers
Onika Nkrumah-Lakhan is a writer and an aspiring documentary filmmaker.
I write best when I feel inspired by something, whether it is daily ordinariness, disappointment or joy.
I enjoy writing light hearted, witty and first person pieces. I choose my words carefully so that the reader can see
and live the experience through my words.
I fancy myself as a bit of a wordsmith and I am quite enchanted by the sounds, meanings and histories of words.
I can adapt my writing solution to suit any organization or individual requirement.
My extensive portfolio of published writings includes press releases and material for employee newsletters, websites,
brochures and travel/destination articles.
My greatest hope when people read my work is that they feel inspired and connect with what is being described. In 2002, when I wrote 'Negotiating the Workplace Minefield', I received emails from
as far away as Canada and a letter from as unlikely a place as Death Row.
I feel certain now that my writing will be the vehicle through which I can save a life, comfort, cheer, motivate and
inspire others.
